They will graduate, be college or career ready, with the skills necessary to achieve success in the 21st century. Unique Programs Throughout the Sisters School District, students have an opportunity to take programs and classes that are hard to find anywhere else. Classes like Chinese, Interdisciplinary Experiential Education, or our Luthier program. Recognition & Reports The Oregon Department of Education produces annual report cards for schools and districts. These reports provide educators with an opportunity to communicate directly with parents and community members about how local schools are performing. Our History The first school in the Sisters school district, then District #9, Crook County, was built about 1885 although Crook County records show money had been allotted to the district in 1883. There were 30 children on the census in 1885. Grant & Title Information The six programs are High School Success, Student Investment Account, Continuous Improvement Planning, Career and Technical Education, Every Day Matters and Early Indicators Systems. This weekend the Unified Outlaws took part in the Polar Plunge at Riverbend Park. The Unified Outlaws raised over $3700 SHS Pie in the Face On February 6th, 14 outstanding seniors from Sisters High School upheld a long-standing tradition of getting pied in the face during Look at the Elementary School Work continues on the new Elementary school, which is anticipated to be completed in the fall of 2024. We will put students first and lead with our hearts. We will never forget why we chose education, to be part of a cause bigger than self and to have a positive impact on our future. Sisters Middle School creates the best opportunities for kids and they will continue to be our top priority. We will communicate. Our door is always open for students and families.
